Understandably when you’re choosing a wedding photographer, you will want to see examples of their previous work, so welcome to my portfolio page.
I have designed this page to enable potential clients to see the work I have done for previous couples in some absolutely stunning and breath-taking venues, such as the South of France, Mallorca and Nice.
With my work as a wedding photographer, I don’t just want to take pictures I want to tell the story behind the images and capture the depth and emotion behind each picture. With the images and stories on this page, you should hopefully be able get a better insight into how I operate as a wedding photographer, and the types of photographs I specialise in. I have also added in a little background detail on each event to help contextualise the story and bring the photographs to life.
WEDDING AT CHATEAU DE CASTELLARAS
P and F decided to have their wedding at Chateau de Castellaras in the south of France and what a stunning venue it is.
It was the first time I shot at this particular venue but I was blown away by it’s history and beauty. I believe the chapel is an 11th century building and to my surprise, there is no natural light in there…only candles.
With only candle light setting the atmosphere, P and F declared their love in front of their friends and family. It’s pretty evident that this couple are super-hot but not only are the beautiful to look at (F is a world famous model) but they are the nicest couple.
Both welcomed me and Jean with open arms and made us feel at home. We shared some amazing moments which I will cherish forever so thank you. This was partly to do with the unique freak storm that happened on their wedding day. Nice had one of the most aggressive storms in history, this was no normally rainy day.
The entire wedding itinerary had to change last minute which was a challenge but we never let this get in the way of the wedding and having fun. We smiled, showed support and the rest is history. The storm was so bad that 17 people died as a result of it.
WEDDING IN SOUTH OF FRANCE
A and M have a love affair with the South of France, so they decided to get married in all its beauty. Weddings in the South of France always turn out to just have the picture perfect setting and these images do. However, moments and the spirit of life comes from the people and not the location.
WEDDING AT CLARIDGE’S HOTEL LONDON
L and B came all the way from America to have their wedding at Claridegs just a few weeks ago, and what a great wedding it was. I am lucky that i get to shoot weddings all over the world in some of the best wedding venues, but there is something about Claridges and London that I love. Just like the venue and the city of London, L is all about details and style. If you knew her, you would know that she loves fashion and elegance, so having your wedding at Claridges was the perfect choice for the perfect couple. few weeks before the wedding, Laura and i speak on Skype to discuss the plans and she informed me that the BBC will be filming parts of her wedding. The BBC are creating a documentary all about Claridges. and they wanted to include their wedding at Claridges as part of the documentary. This of course would mean that there would be a film crew on parts of the day. Claridges and all of it’s events staff where very accommodating to us all and made sure everyone was happy.
For a destination wedding, it was quite big in numbers as lots of friends and family attended the wedding to show their support. When i first met Bill in his room, we instantly connected, he is such a cool guy, i could call him a friend now. We started off just hanging around, chilling and seeing what would happen. His friends arrived one by one and created a great atmosphere, this was perfect for me. I just watched and created my version of events, with my artistic view of course. Once we finished with Bill, we made our way to the room L was getting ready in, this was a little more ‘active’. Story telling is what it is all about for me. I want to create stories and memories and not always in such the most obvious way either. L had her best friends and family with her helping her get ready. For me, this is the best part of any wedding. I love the transition from girl to bride and all of the emotions in between. L is also a beautiful girl both inside and out and photographing her was a dream….she is stunning. She has that eye for style and detail with her dress, her shoes, her hair and everything else being just perfect.
A few months before the wedding, the family received some shocking news which was big enough to stop the wedding altogether. The family made a decision to continue and the right decision was made. I know that L and B understand the power of the story and family and how important it is to not only look your best but also to celebrate family, life and love.
WEDDING AT ST. TROPEZ
D and N decided to have their wedding at The Muse in St Tropez, and what a stunning venue it is. I love the south of France and I am lucky enough to shoot their a few times a year. N has a lot of memories spent with her family in St Tropez and wanted to create new ones which is where I step in i guess, capturing them that is. D is an awesome guy, a really South African at heart and a man’s man.. with a flare of romance I witnessed. I loved every minute spent with N, D and their very sweet families. Their wedding was elegant, fun, romantic, stylish and VERY good looking. Thank you to both families for your kind hospitality and love. Their wedding day story below.
WEDDING AT CAP ROCAT
A and B Shared 5 amazing days with their closest friends and family celebrating their wedding in Cap Rocat, Mallorca Spain. Their wedding day was truly something else. It was magnificent for many reasons. The details, location, family and spirit blew me away. A and B allowed myself and my second shooter and best friend Pierre to document several days of their lives and boy did we have fun. Boat parties, dinner nights, wild dancing, drinking, grooms stealing my cameras and shooting everyone in sight and much more. I can honestly say we had the time of our lives telling their story. Words don’t come out of me easily and clearly I am not he best writer in the world, but I do like taking pictures, which I hope you will enjoy below and in the other posts. A huge thanks again to my good friend and a guy I seem to be working lots with these days, Mike Harris. You are the best video guy and your crews are always willing to help make everyone do the best job, so thanks to you, Conrad and Anthony the boy wonder.
I had to split the wedding day into two posts, this and the party as I believe the party was so epic, it needed it’s own post 🙂
WEDDING AT CAP ROCAT|BOAT PARTY
I am for once lost for words haha. When I first found out that I would be documenting the wedding of A and B in Spain this year, I knew it would be a great 4 days with them but nothing could have prepared me for what would happen. This was the first day and boat party to set the mood of the weekend…although the couple and their closest friends had just spent a week in Ibiza for the pre wedding warm up. A and B have become much more than clients to me. They opened their hearts to all of the crew and treated us like family for the entire time we spent together and I am happy to have found new friends. Their boat party was full of life and spirit, and not just the wet type either 😉 I will let the images do the talking but I just want to thank again an amazing person and my best friend Pierre for being more than a second shooter, you are the best and I can’t do my job without your support. Big hugs again to Ray Roman for the awesome crew and memories we shared again… the video looks epic!

WEDDING AT CAP ROCAT | POST SHOOT
What a great way to end 5 epic days. The post shoot was the perfect ending with a great crew and couple. Enjoy.
WEDDING AT CAP ROCAT | PARTY IN MALLORCA
This has to be one of the best wedding parties I have even photographed. So good, I had to dedicate an entire post to it as it deserved it’s own space. Champagne was being sprayed everywhere including on my cameras and lenses but it was all part of the experience. These crazy guys were going on to 7am! The party started in a brilliant way, confetti being fired by everyone, some 60 explosions or something like that. However, when the champagne was rolled out, all 60 bottles, the part went into a new gear… one I have never seen before. It was brutal but amazing to be apart of this experience.
