If you’re looking for a photographer with a keen eye for natural, emotive shots on your wedding day that go way beyond the stages and choreographed norms, then I may be just what you’re looking [...]

The happy couple, P and F chose the beautiful Chateau de Castelleras in the South of France as their wedding venue, which delivered a fantastic set of images of their wedding celebrations from start to [...]

Welcome to L’Amore Photography. I’m Alex, a London-based wedding photographer whose passion for beautiful wedding photography knows no bounds. Through my work as a destination wedding photographer I have been lucky enough to travel to some absolutely stunning and romantic locations, following couples on their magical journey into marriage – documenting their most precious moments.

With a portfolio stretches from the South of France, to Italy, Greece, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, the United States, Puerto Rica, Jamaica and the Seychelles to name but a few, I have extensive experience in location photography for weddings all over the world.

Classic, timeless and true

My approach to wedding photography isn’t about gimmicks or the latest trends. I use my creative skills to simply depict you, your story and what I see in the most sincere and organic way to deliver classic, timeless and true images. With all my clients I take the time to really understand their wedding photography needs, expectations, location and style, which allows me to immerse myself in their wedding day celebrations without getting in the way. I can then capture real moments and emotions subtly and naturally without interference.

Capturing the spirit of romance

With these kinds of intimate occasions, I believe my job is to blend into the background and go unnoticed, which enables couples and their guests to completely relax and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime event, uninterrupted and uninhibited. This in turn gives a unique richness and depth to images that can’t be choreographed or replicated, making them even more poignant and memorable. I’m drawn to the more unusual shots, the in between bits that say so much more.

With each wedding shoot, I want to make sure the images I deliver will be cherished forever, whether it’s the first glimpse of the bride as she walks down the aisle, a fleeting moment between friends or raucous reception celebrations in full swing. I always endeavour to get the most out of the location wherever it may be; capturing the true spirit and romance of your wedding; not just the wedding day itself, but the pre and post party celebrations with your family and friends too.

If you’re planning a wedding in foreign climes, then I would love the opportunity to work personally with you to produce timeless images that depict the sheer happiness, wonder and beauty of your special day.

For B and L, Claridges Hotel in London was the perfect venue. It’s an institution for luxury, elegance and sophistication, which is exactly why they decided to come all the way from America to host their dream wedding in this historic venue.

Despite having travelled the globe, there is something about a Claridges in my hometown of London that I simply love.

When it came to choosing the perfect wedding venue, D and N decided on The Muse in St. Tropez. The South of France is a gorgeous part of the world and through my work I’m lucky enough to shoot beautiful weddings there a few times a year; and D and N’s wedding day was no exception.

From opposite ends of the globe, Chile and Dubai, A and M chose South of France as their wedding destination of choice. Having had a love affair with the South of France for some time, they felt it was the perfect place to gather some 300 family and friends from all over the world to celebrate their love for each other.
